Introducing our Skedulo Applications

The Role of Applications in Workforce Management

Workforce data can be messy, especially for large organizations with hundreds or thousands of employees. That’s where our applications come into play. They provide a simple interface that allows users to interact with all that data in an organized, user-friendly way. Taking piles of information, categorising it accordingly and making it easy to manage and interact with.

Without our applications, you might have to manage workforce data in unwieldy spreadsheets or manually through paper records. So to save all that mess, Skedulo offers two core applications;

  • Skedulo Plus (our mobile app) for workers out in the field
  • The Skedulo Web App for the team managing a deskless workforce

Oh yeah, and a few other applications for industry solutions and specific use cases;

  • Skedulo on Salesforce: For customers using Salesforce as their platform
  • Australian Healthcare Solution: For Australian customers operating in the healthcare sector
  • Age Care Package: For Australian customers operating in the age care sector
  • High Capacity: A bespoke solution Skedulo built to help governments and organisations with mass scheduling COVID-19 vaccinations, during that whole messy time we dare not speak of.

So as you can see, Skedulo has a wide range of applications that customers can use to interact with and manage workforce data. With each of them offering various interfaces (specific to the use case or persona) to easily manage and interact with workforce data.


Introducing our Skedulo Applications

Now that you know at a high level what applications we offer, let’s dive a bit deeper and talk about the two core Skedulo Applications that have been built with specific personas in mind.

The Skedulo Mobile Application

Our mobile application ‘Skedulo Plus’ is used by Deskless Workers Loading description. Please wait... to interact with workforce data that is specific to them. They can use various interfaces to see their schedule, notifications, record time they’re unavailable and manage their jobs.

Some interfaces found in Skedulo Plus Application;

  • Agenda: Show the worker all their allocated work for the day, week or month

  • Availability: See all availability including recurring, ad-hoc availability, or requests for unavailability.
  • Settings: Control personal settings or preferences
  • Job Details: Specific details relating to a single job, like times, job info, tasks and customer information
  • Forms: Global forms or job specific forms to view or create workforce data

Alternative Applications to Interact with Skedulo

While the Skedulo Web and Mobile apps are our core tools, some customers prefer a different way to interact with Skedulo—especially if they’re already using other platforms. A great example is Salesforce. Some of our customers use Salesforce as their primary platform for managing workforce data, and instead of jumping between systems, they interact with Skedulo capabilities within Salesforce to get the job done. This means they can handle scheduling, resource management, and more, all without leaving Salesforce. Oh except for deskless workers, they can still use our awesome mobile app.

For those customers, Salesforce becomes their main interface for managing foundational data like accounts, contacts, and locations—making it a smooth experience if they’re already working inside the Salesforce ecosystem. Plus, some of our Industry Solutions Loading description. Please wait... for Healthcare, come with custom interfaces inside Salesforce. So, users in those sectors can manage their specific workflows directly within a system that compliments their use cases, using Skedulo’s scheduling tools without having to switch to the Web App.

But that’s not the only option! If you’re working with other tools, you can connect them to Skedulo using our powerful API. This opens up a ton of possibilities for custom integrations. For example, some of our customers use our Zendesk Connector to manage workforce data and job requests right from Zendesk, which makes things super convenient for teams already using a specific application.

So, whether you’re deep into Salesforce or integrating Skedulo with another system, there are plenty of ways to interact with your workforce data, tailored to your specific needs.
